How is my part-exchange valuation calculated?

We base our valuations on live market data, your car's mileage, service history, condition, and the number of keys. We aim to give you a fair, realistic offer — not an inflated figure designed to lure you in and then be reduced on the day.

Does my car need to be in perfect condition?

No. We accept cars in a range of conditions. Minor wear and tear is completely normal and won't necessarily affect your valuation significantly. We ask you to be honest about any known damage or issues when you submit your details — that way there are no surprises for either side.

Can I part-exchange a car with outstanding finance?

Yes. If your car has outstanding finance on it, we'll need the settlement figure from your lender. We'll work out the equity you have in the vehicle and apply that straight towards your next car. Get in touch and we'll talk it through.

Does my car need a valid MOT?

Your car doesn't need to have a current MOT to be part-exchanged with us. We'll take its MOT status into account when we make our offer, but it won't prevent us from accepting it.

Can I part-exchange if I'm also using finance for my next car?

Yes — part exchange and finance work together. Your part-exchange value acts as the deposit, reducing the amount you need to finance. It's one of the most cost-effective ways to upgrade your car.

How do I get the most from my part-exchange?

Be thorough and honest when filling in your details — accurate information leads to a more accurate valuation. Having a full service history, both keys, and a clean, well-presented car will all help. We value cars on their merits, so a well-looked-after vehicle will always reflect that.

What happens if I change my mind?

There's no obligation at any stage. If you decide not to proceed with the part exchange after receiving your valuation, that's absolutely fine. No pressure, no fees.
